📆 Change workout date in Final Surge

Aside from the week or so prior to a race (where it might be necessary to complete training sessions on set days and/or in a specific order), the days on which sessions are set is NOT strict.

You can swap your workouts around based on what works for your week and work/life commitments and how you are feeling. It is much better to “train smart” and adapt your training plan to your lifestyle, than to be a “box ticker” and blindly stick to the set programme no matter what.

You can change the date of individual workouts in the Final Surge app by simply dragging and dropping each workout to a different day of the week. See below for instructions.

🔀 Change the date of an individual workout

First, head to the “Calendar” view in the Final Surge app.

Tap and hold the workout you would like to move.

Continue holding the workout. You will now be able to “drag and drop” the workout to a different date in the calendar.

Drag the workout to the date you would like to move it to. Drop the workout on the selected date.

That’s it! The workout you moved will now be set on your chosen date.

Once you’ve completed the session on the new date, your completed workout (from your watch or Strava) will now merge with the planned workout on the correct date.
